A pleasant journey in the past
During his time studying in Italy, Nikola was able to combine his prior knowledge in Fine Arts with his interest in historical fashion. With the help of his professors, Elena Rossoni and Aurora Fiorentini, who taught the history of costume and fashion, he was able to gain a solid foundation for his future studies.
After returning to his home country, Nikola continued his studies with passion and conducted research in these fields. He also became an advocate for these subjects by delivering public speeches, participating in interviews and discussions with his colleagues and people from the education sector, emphasizing the importance of including these subjects in the curriculums of higher education institutions for fashion design.
Nikola Eftimov channeled his passion for the history of costume and fashion into his work in fashion and costume design, using these fields as a source of inspiration.
Nikola Eftimov has signed a few costume designs for theatre plays, ballets, and other performances. In addition to that, he has also mentored students in the field of costume design and always tried to add extra curriculum activities related to costume design and the History of costume and fashion, whenever possible.
